As the year winds down, I thought it was as good a time as any for me to reflect on 2009 and compile my hits and misses for the year. After a lot of deliberation I present to you Part 2 of the DHO Top 5′s of 2009!

| #5 | Strawllers I’ve always wanted a straw set so these hold a special place in my heart. |

| #4 | Hot Tools Soft Bonnet Dryer 7 years and it still serves its purpose faithfully. I love that I can dry my hair anywhere a power outlet is available and don’t have to be confined to a chair at a table. It’s also small enough to travel with. |

| #3 | Slide-in Clips These have made my rollersets sooo much better because they have allowed me to get rid of the magnetic covers that leave those “granny crimps” – y’all know what I mean. |

| #2 | Pretty Wrap Scarf It’s a bonnet and scarf in one and one of the few things that can survive my routing sleep patterns. I don’t go to bed without it! |

| #1 | Hair Steamer My baby…I think this is the reason I was able to get such good deep conditioning results. It hype! |

I would love to try a straw set too. I’ve never had one, but would love one. Okay and 4 out of 5 of your Top 5′s are my top ‘s even though I don’t have strawllers or a steamer, but I’m working on it. A few more months in pj rehab and I’ll be able to splurge.
What a great blog! I would like to hear more about your hair steamer. I saw that you posted back in September about it and that you have now listed it among your top appliances of 2009. Can you give us more information about how it compares to a regular hair dryer (for deep conditioning treatments? How often do you use it? Have you over-conditioned your hair by using it too often? I am having BIG problems with dryness because I workout 7 days a week and my head sweats a lot.
I have a relaxer and I’m thinking about purchasing a hair steamer ASAP. Please respond and let me know your thoughts. Based your thorough your on this blog, I really trust your judgment. Thanks & Peace!
