Welcome to Diary of a Hair Obsession or DHO for short.

Diary of a Hair Obsession is an outlet for me to express my obsession with everything regarding black hair care with a small smattering of beauty products.   I love trying new products (especially conditioners) and experimenting with homemade hair and beauty concoctions.  On Diary of a Hair Obsession you can expect to see a chronicle of most things I attempt with my hair and my honest and heartfelt review of the products I try whether I like them or not.   Sometimes I’ll have to rant about the poor performance of the products I try and other times I’ll glorify the amazing performance of others. These are just my opinions based on my experiences and should not be  taken as the Holy Grail!  I do not receive compensation for my reviews and even if I do choose to go that route at a later date I will be sure to let you know.  Rest assured it will never be at the expense of my honest opinion.

My mission here at DHO is not solely to express my obsession through product reviews, progress updates etc., but to educate myself and hopefully someone else in the process so that you can distinguish the garbage from the reality and avoid making some of the mistakes I have made along the way.
